Craig Danzig at Blue Marlin Motors USA contacted Wraps1.com with an interesting request: he had a black 2012 Harley Davidson Fat Boy that was going to be raffled off for a breast cancer charity event. Naturally, that meant that it needed to be pink. Our co-founder Burl Cole took on the challenge himself, personally handling all aspects of the installation. This included building a custom jig to hold the motorcycle while he worked and ensuring that the final wrap was seamless.
Motorcycle wraps like this offer an interesting challenge to installers. They involve finer details and a great deal of disassembly and reassembly, but the results are always worth the extra effort. In a case like this, the wrap will protect the paint from the sun and damaged caused by day-to-day wear and tear. The vinyl can also be easily removed if the raffle winner wants with no damage at all to the original finish.
