Wheeler Dealers is a show made for car lovers. Car enthusiast Mike Brewer and master mechanic Edd China work as a team to rebuild and bring life to used, run down cars that they then resell. This process must be done with a particular budget in mind, and a unique final product as an end goal. After the necessary repairs – cosmetic, mechanical, electrical – are made, the car gets taken on a test drive and is then sold.
Mike and Edd made their way to Costa mesa, CA, for the Crusin For a Cure Show. Wraps1 just so happened to have our 66 Chevy C10 truck and our 64 Cadillac El Dorado featured at this show. We chatted for a bit, and they brought up that they were filming not too far from our location. They said they had to see what Wraps1 was all about. Our quality work went a long way. With a project that involved wrapping a car, it was obvious that we were a perfect match for their project. Mock ups were made and numerous conversations were had before the final vinyl wrap was created.
After roughly two months, we changed a pacer, to a “Spacer”. With a light gray base coat, we covered the car in a vinyl wrap with hexagon cutouts, adding to the futuristic look of the pacer. The Wheeler Dealers were aiming for a 21st century, sci-fi feel, and when it comes to creating the perfect wrap for our customers vision, we never disappoint. Needless to say, the “Spacer” ended up being exactly what Mike and Edd hoped for!
